This is an observational drawing I created in college. Using various brusho dyes, I created a ground to work on top of, using a dripping technique and being gestured by splashing it on the page. I then roughly sketched out the figure in chalk once the ground had dried, and then worked on top using Indian Ink, which I also dripped. I liked creating the ground for this drawing as it gives more depth to the simple line drawing of the figure that I did. This piece of work is A3 in size.
