In my current college
project, I'm basing my whole idea on fairies and how they're green home is
being taken over by the destruction of construction. This idea links in with
the Orangery that we're doing a live brief for and I've been highly influenced
on the idea by my favourite childhood film, Ferngully. This image displays an
experiment of scratching on film emulsion. I used darkroom processes as a
direct link to ‘The Cottingley Fairies’. I feel like the scratching compliments
the harsh spikes on the tree and I really liked it.
